andra S. Tolen, 66, of Shelbyville, died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 2. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left at www.howeandyockey.com.
Sandra was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Shelbyville, the daughter of August Roy and Barbara Jean Walden West. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1964. Sandra was a monitor tech at Shelby Memorial Hospital, where she worked for nearly 40 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville. Sandra married Jon Robert Tolen March 26, 1966, in Shelbyville. He died July 24, 2000.
Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Keller and husband, Steve, of Effingham, Teresa Considine and husband, Kirk, of Riverton and Tara Skelley of Charleston; sisters, Debbie Reed and husband, Dan, of Kingman and Cathy White of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Grant Keller, Jessica Keller, Kami Lafoon, Max Lafoon, Michael Skelley, Matthew Skelley, Jacob Considine and Daniel Considine.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jon.
