EFFINGHAM —
Vivian Marguerite Webb, 94, of Effingham, formerly of Stewardson, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stewardson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Stewardson.
Marguerite was born March 8, 1918, in Stewardson, the daughter of Tracy Emanuel and Goldya Mae Schuyler Hoyer. Marguerite operated a beauty shop in her home in Stewardson for 58 years.
She married Ralph Webb in 1935 and he passed away 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Allsop of Effingham; grandchildren, Tim Anderson of Effingham, Nick Allsop and wife Tania of Jacksonville, Fla., Terry Allsop of Effingham and Lesa Barber of Manchester, Mo.; great grandchildren, Travis Anderson, Ashlee Briggerman, Waylon Lee Allsop and Madeline Barber; sister, Jeannette Klepzig of Stewardson..
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents, Tracy and Goldya Mae Hoyer; son, Rodney Bruce Webb; brother, Ralph Hoyer; and a special friend, Paul Yakey.
No words can express our appreciation of the care-givers and administration of Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care, kindnesses and love given our loved one at her passing and for the last nine years of her live. Also, a special thanks must be given to Dr. Merkel for his expertise and kindness. He was always there when we need him the most.
