HORN LAKE, MISS. —
Joyce Ann West Meyer, 67, was born Nov. 3, 1945, in Makanda, and passed away Jan. 1, 2013, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, Tenn.
Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, Miss.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Teutopolis and Christ The King Catholic Church in Southaven, Miss. Mrs. Meyer was a former beautician and the former manager of True Value Hardware in Indianopolis.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harold L. Meyer of Horn Lake, Miss.; one son, David H. Meyer and his wife, Cathy, of Forgan, Okla.; one daughter, Cynthia A. Heuerman and her husband, Scott, of Southaven, Miss.; four brothers, Clarence West and his wife, Judy, of Arizona, Cecil West and his wife, Lillie, of Yale, Carl West and his wife, Charlotte, and Andy West and his wife, Janet, all of Effingham; five grandchildren, Chelsy Waters and her husband, David, Slayde Meyer, Cole Heuerman and his wife, Bridget, Cody Heuerman and his wife, Leigh Ann, and Josh Heuerman; three great-grandchildren, Layni Waters, Madison Heuerman, and Tyler Heuerman; many nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friend, Brenda Post of Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence West and Nora Barton West; one sister, Bonnie Harrison; and two brothers, James West and Paul West.
