LOUISVILLE —
Ellen F. Harmon, 84, of Louisville, died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Effingham Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, with burial in Shouse Chapel Cemetery, rural Louisville with Van McQueen officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
She was born July 19, 1928, in Clay County, the daughter of Washington and Stella (Lewis) Lewis. She married Daniel M. Harmon on Jan. 26, 1948, in Clay County. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Shouse Chapel Methodist Church for many years.
Surviving are her sons, Michael (Marcia) Harmon of Louisville and Reggie Harmon of Louisville; sister, Dorothy Hall of Louisville; four grandchildren, Brandon Harmon, Jordan Harmon, Donna Bean and Eric Harmon; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Janae Harmon, Mckenzie Jo Harmon and Hayley Marie Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Aaron Lewis; half brothers, Harold and Melvin Lewis; and two grandchildren, Heather Harmon and Holly Harmon Anderson.
