ST. ELMO —
Sharon Kay Williams, 59, of St. Elmo, passed away at 5:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. C & A Pagel Funeral Home, St. Elmo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sharon Kay was born March 16, 1953, in Taylorville, the daughter of Floyd G. and Goldie Mae (Tipsword) Mitchell. She was employed as a nursing assistance at Friendship Manor, St. Elmo.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda (husband, Doug) Reisner of St. Elmo; son-in-law, Rodney Mars of St. Elmo; six grandchildren, Fallon, Colton and Morgan Reisner, Tamyra (husband, Ryan) Reeter, Tyler and Joel Mars, all of St. Elmo; great-grandchildren, Dagen Reeter, Sophia Hendreickson and Kameron Reeter; brothers, Floyd (wife, Linda) Mitchell of St. Elmo; Charles (wife, Debbie) Mitchell of Vandalia; sister, Wanda Tucker of St. Elmo; sister-in-law, Gladys Mitchell of St. Elmo; brother-in-law, Gilbert McMillan of Vandalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terri Mars; brother, Kenny Mitchell; sisters, Betty (husband, Harold) Powers, Mary McMillan, Bonnie Ledbetter, Clara Evans and Violet Stockons; brother-in-law, Roger Tucker; and nephew, George Evans.
