Erin Bergbower, 36, of Claremont died at 1:03 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in rural Richland County.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Newton, with burial in Trexler Cemetery, rural Newton, with the Rev. Joe Molloy and the Rev. Allan Kemme officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, Olney, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Erin was born Oct. 14, 1976, in Olney, the daughter of Tony and Sue Sparks of Newton. She married Barry Bergbower on Nov. 21, 2009, in Olney.
Erin was employed as an assistant dietician at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Newton.
Erin enjoyed cooking and being outdoors, especially camping and fishing with her husband, Barry. She was a hard worker and very dedicated to her job at Richland Memorial Hospital. She loved being with her friends and family, especially her twin sister and soul mate. Everyone will miss her dearly.
Surviving are her parents, Tony and Sue Sparks of Newton; twin sister, Jennifer Lewis and husband, Brad, of Newton; brothers, Scott Sparks and wife, Virginia, of St. Louis, Gregg Sparks and wife, Jami, of Effingham, Jesse Sparks and wife, Mendy, of Kansas City, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Mark, Brian, Samantha, Gracey, Gary, Tyler, Kaylee, Jacob and Jetta.
