Clare Marie Rivera Ellis, infant daughter, of Ramon and Andrea Ellis Rivera, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Mercy Children’s Hospital, Creve Coeur, Mo.
A private family memorial service will be today, Feb. 15, in Mound Cemetery, Cowden, with the Rev. Allynn Walker officiating. Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Cowden, is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials in Clare’s memory may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Mercy Children’s Hospital at 615 S. Marie was born Jan. 25, 2013, at Mercy Children’s Hospital.
Surviving are her parents, Ramon and Andrea Ellis Rivera of Dupo; grandparents, Gary and Jo Ellis of Altamont, and Ramon and Maria Rivera of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; great-grandmother, Elba Claudio of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; many uncles and aunts; and several cousins.
Clare was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Lonnie and Ruth Banning and John and Clare Ellis; aunt, Abby Jo Ellis; great-uncles, Johnnie Banning, Richard Ellis and Ruben Coldero; and a cousin, Laura Ellis.
