NEOGA —
Jeffrey William Lawrence May, 24, of Neoga, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Neoga Memorial Cemetery. Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Neoga, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Mike and Lisa May at P. O. Box 417, Neoga, IL 62447. Online condolences may be expressed at swengel-o'dell.com.
Jeffrey was born May 15, 1988, in Coles County, the son of Michael and Lisa (Swank) May. He was a member of the Mattoon congregation of Jehovah Witness and attended the Kingdom Hall. Jeffrey graduated from the Neoga High School. Due to his health he was unable to work, but he enjoyed life and his friends.
Jeffrey leaves his parents, Mike and Lisa May of Neoga; one brother, Michael May and wife Hannah of Mattoon; grandparents, Willis and Clara May of Neoga; and one niece, Khloe May of Mattoon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Irene Swank.
