KANKAKEE —
Evelyn M. Schultz, 80, of Kankakee, formerly of Effingham, passed away at 4 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Miller Rehabilitation Center, Kankakee.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Effingham. Burial will be in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham, and one hour prior to service time Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Evelyn was born in Mason, the daughter of Adolph and Lorna (Muchow) Siebert. She married Glen F. Schultz on May 2, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 1983. Evelyn was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham. She retired from K & M Floral Shoppe in Effingham after more than 20 years of service.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Paul (Kim) Schultz of Bourbonnais; two grandchildren, Erin (Eric) Linnell of Xenia, Ohio, and Michael Paul of Bourbonnais; great-granddaughter, Harper Linnell; two brothers, Charles (Janet) Siebert of Mason and Gilbert (Sharon) Siebert of Altamont; three sisters, Vera (Norbert) Doedtman of Lowell, Ind., Alice Allen of Naperville and Delphine Duckwitz of Altamont; and sister-in-law, Eva Schultz of Stewardson.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; and daughter, Sharon.
