EFFINGHAM —
Cora L. Clagg, 69, of Effingham, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Effingham Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Effingham.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Stewardson, with Pastor Larry Clonch officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Effingham, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be given to Seventh Day Adventist Church, Stewardson. Online condolences may be left at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com.
Cora was born on July 27, 1943, in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of Henry and Helen Hodge. She married Earl Clagg on July 2, 1999, in Effingham, and he survives.
Cora was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Stewardson, TOPS and GROW. She was a homemaker. Cora loved the Lord, and also liked to cook, read and crochet.
Cora is survived by her husband, Earl Clagg of Effingham; children, Lloyd (Mary) Crawford of Altamont, Sharon Morse of Holly, Mich., Kimberly Crawford of Calif., Kathleen
ÒKatÕ Finton of Effingham, Matthew Finton of Effingham, Michael Finton of Marion and Evelyn ÒLynnÓ Simmons of Edwardsville; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jerry Hodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Kingston Curry.
