Beverly Sue Fritscher, 72, of Dieterich, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Effingham.
Funeral services celebrating Beverly's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Dieterich, with the Rev. Gary Fortkamp officiating. Burial will be in Dieterich Village Cemetery, Dieterich. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Blake-Wright Funeral Home, Dieterich, and one hour before the services at the church. Beverly was born April 30, 1940, at the family home in rural Wheeler, the daughter of Walter John Conrad Ebeling and Minnie Rowena (Rawlings) Ebeling. She married Elmer Fritscher on June 8, 1958, and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1996.
Beverly worked at E.R. Moore Cap and Gown Factory in Newton and retired after 39 years of service. She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church, Dieterich. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
Beverly is survived by her sons, Chuck (Lisa) Fritscher of Dieterich and Steve (fiancee, Kelly Grupe) Fritscher of Altamont; three grandchildren, Valerie (Bill) Sanguinetti, Vanessa Fritscher and Matt Fritscher; and brother, Dennis (special friend, Paulette) Ebeling of Newton.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Shirley Hord; and two brothers, George and Robert Ebeling.
