CHARLESTON —
Carlos A. Harrison, 75, of Charleston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Memorial services honoring and celebrating Carlos’ life will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Chapel, Charleston. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. It is requested that memorial gifts in his honor be made to Wesley United Methodist Church. Carlos was born May 14, 1937, in Charleston, and was a son of the late Claude and Marjorie (Sims) Harrison. He married the love of his live, Beverly Polmounter, on Oct. 3, 1970, in Miami. For these past 42 years, they have been business partners, bridge partners and partners in life.
In addition to Bev, Carlos is survived by three children, Charles “Chuck” Harrison (wife, Mary Ann) of Morgantown, Va., Tammy Harrison of Springfield and James “Bob” Harrison of Charleston; sister, Betty Yaw of Dennison; and brother, Bill Harrison (wife, Judy) of Charleston.
