BEECHER CITY —
Peggy R. Logue, 60, of rural Beecher City, died at 7:22 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont, with the Rev. John Heicher officiating. Burial will be in Mount Mariah Cemetery, rural St. Elmo. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.giesekingfh.com.
Peggy was born on July 6, 1952, in St. Elmo, to Curtis W. and Kathryn Riley. She married Ronald Logue on Sept. 5, 1969, at Springhill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, rural Beecher City, and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was retired from Voelker Home for Seniors.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Darlene) Logue of Effingham and Trent (Jennifer) Logue of St. Elmo; daughter, Stacy Logue of Altamont; brothers, Curtis (Shelb) Riley of Altamont and Dennis (Patty) Riley of St. Elmo; sisters, Priscilla Scholes of St. Elmo and Mary Jane (Fred) Gottman of St. Elmo; and three grandchildren, Katie, Audria and Jayse Logue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Riley; and sister, June Rhodes.
