TOLEDO —
Jocelyn Violet Groves, infant daughter of Adam D. and Amanda S. (Kemper) Groves, passed away at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center of Coles County.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, in the Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Trilla, with Pastor Toby Davis of Trilla officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at the Church. Burial will be in the Beals Cemetery near Trilla. The Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga is in charge of arrangements. Jocelyn was born at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County. She leaves her parents, Adam and Amanda Groves, of rural Toledo; two brothers, Riley Dean Groves and Keegan Russell Groves at home; grandparents, Brad and Susan Groves of rural Trilla, and Tony and Susan Kemper of rural Casey; great-grandparents, Don and Ida Mae Groves of Mattoon, Janet Tinch of rural Trilla, Gene and Erma Kemper of Greenup, and Betty Hanners of Casey.
Jocelyn was preceded in death by two grandparents, Robert “Rut” Tinch and Clarence Hanners.
